Hotel a Pilgrims Rest

“The room and hotel were adequate, comfortable, clean and sufficient for a brief, overnight stay. The facility is dated but well maintained. Breakfast was very limited and we did not partake other than to enjoy the coffee. Conveniently located off the Interstate and rooms are a reasonable price. Thanks to the staff!”

“Good”

“Staff was great room was clean the only bad thing low water pressure”

“Rooms are very comfortable and well thought out for travelers”

“Poor stay—would not recommend Overall, this was a disappointing experience due to several policy, comfort, and facility issues: Payment Policy: Full payment for the room, along with an unanticipated $20 fee, was required up front prior to the stay, rather than the standard practice of paying upon checkout. Noise Levels: There is a complete lack of sound insulation between rooms and floors. You can clearly hear every movement and sound from the rooms above and adjacent to you. Lighting: The...

“Staff was extremely attentive when we experienced an issue with the door lock. The door wouldn't open. Matter was resolved timely in 15 minutes. And the manager went out of his way to apologize. Everything else was great”

“Great stay! Will be back!”

“Bed was ok but not really comfortable”

“This property is what you expect from an IHG Holiday Inn Express. The amenity of laundry services and outdoor seating areas help it feel like a community. Breakfast was great. Our bathroom, specifically the shower, could have been more clean (mold, etc.). The front desk staff, while friendly when spoken to, never initiated greetings or salutations as we entered or exited the property multiple times a day. Overall it was a good property for the rate and surrounding area amenities.”

“The location is not great. The hotel next door is run down. We were traveling for business and needed a clean room and bathroom, and this hotel delivered. The staff was incredible and there was easy grab and go breakfast options with some decent options for dining in. We will stay there again for future business trips.”

“Paid for two night and got them at decent price can’t complain about that, my only complaint is the bed sheets I had found a blood stains on them and took awhile for them to get replaced, other than that the room and hotel itself wasn’t bad at all..”

“Room was clean and well maintained during my stay. Liked being able to have breakfast downstairs.”

“Nice and quiet stay. Great breakfast.”

“The front desk staff were super friendly and nice. Their computers had been down for three days. It took a little longer to get checked in but they made it stress free.”

“My room was very nice and spacious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the breakfast was not very good. The hotel is located off several major roads and closest restaurants and shopping.”

“Very outdated property and price is not reflective of that. We would not choose this hotel again, too many newer hotels with competitive pricing. Carpet in hallways stained, dirty, and not even adhered to floor well. Super old feeling yet still pricey. Staff in the breakfast area were kind and accommodating, that was our one positive of the stay!”
